James Cameron to Direct T5

Hollywood is buzzing with the news that James Cameron will direct Terminator 5.  Apparently, he saw a rough cut of Terminator 4: Salvation and enjoyed where the story was heading.  I guess McG did a great job.  Just like the first two movies, he’ll also be writing the story.  I’m really excited about this because:

1)  If Cameron enjoyed T4, that means it must be entertaining.

2)  Hopefully he’ll finish off the franchise that he created.  Part 3 was okay but ruined the story of part two.

On a related note, I hope you’re having a great April Fool’s!

    Terminator Salvation was utter garbage!

I just pray that we finally see the TRUE Judgement Day as was portrayed in T2 which I’m sure we will now that Cameron is back in charge! =D

Here’s the part that must have been an April fools joke: “saw a rough cut of Terminator 4: Salvation and enjoyed where the story was heading. I guess McG did a great job.”

  9. Eric says:

Actually, more precisely, Cameron wrote the first Terminator with help from his wife at the time, Gale Anne Hurd.

  10. Jimmy says:

I think James Cameron should all of the sequels, and bring back Arnold as a good terminator.

I think all movies should stop at 3, aside from the reboots and remakes, which should only happen at least a decade after the last in a series. How many good movies have there been that were 4th in a series? Sometimes, even 3 movies is pushing it.
