I concider it the best because it connected two Generations of Star Wars fans, and created alot of new fans. Also, the Phantom Menance made the star wars series more, human, for lack of a better word. And of course Darth Maul, he was awesome. I laughed at teh parts with CGI yoda, just was on odd thing to do. I think overall, concidering the time it was released, and who was releasing it, it came out fairly good. The fight between Obi and Anakin in Revenge of the Sith was also cool. I enjoyed their emotional conflict towards each other, drama + action's always good. Some critics liked it, some others hated it for it overuse of special effects, it's wooden acting, or lack of story.
