Grant Gustin, better known as Sebastian from Glee, has just been cast as Barry Allen aka The Flash in the upcoming season of CW’s Arrow. The plan is for Barry Allen’s character to appear in three episodes of Arrow before The Flash series spins off on its own.  Here is the character description from a press release: “Barry Allen (Gustin) is a Central City assistant police forensic investigator who arrives in Starling to look into a series of unexplained robberies that may have a connection to a tragedy in his past. A comic book fan boy, Barry is obsessed …

Starting tomorrow and running through next week, Youtube will be showcasing nerd-related channels from around the globe. This is their first outing in this arena, and 100 channels will be highlighted. Each day will have a different focus.

According to the Youtube blog, more than half of their non-music channels specialize in nerd culture. Wow! I knew nerds were moving into the mainstream but this really says a lot.  Helping to produce the event are Nerdist from the US and Channel Flip from the UK. Each day will be hosted by a different nerdy Youtube channel.

Here is the schedule from …

SDCC: Walking Dead Season 4 Trailer

SDCC: Walking Dead Season 4 Trailer

Here’s the latest trailer for Walking Dead Season 4 starting Oct. 13.

I like the fact that the characters are used to killing zombies and not afraid of them anymore.  It looks like they’re still going to be in the prison for a while though.…

With the first episode of Book 2: Spirits of The Legend of Korra just a few days away from premiering at SDCC 2013, what better time than now to do a list of things I want to see happen in the upcoming season which will hopefully come to fruition and help improve this terrible show and elevate it to something that doesn’t make you want to shoot yourself in the head with a shotgun with cringe worthy characters, dialogue, pointless and poorly executed sub plots and the ugh…. romance….

1) CUT DOWN THE NUMBER OF SUB PLOTS AND FOCUS MORE ON

AvengersAssemble2 TV Show Review: Avengers Assemble Premiere

We all knew this one was coming for a long time now. The new Avengers show that was given birth to once EMH was shoot in the head and left to bleed out in a dark alley. I was just as skeptical as anyone else, especially with the posters looking like amateur fan art or the promos looking like Ultimate Spider-Man. And now that the first two episodes of Avengers Assemble are out I have to say…. I kinda like it…. Now I know it has a very long way to go before it can reach the level of EMH, but

TV Review: Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 5

Hard too believe it’s been nearly 5 whole years since Star Wars: The Clone Wars debut as a full feature film back in 2008. Upon its release, critics and fans blasted the film but it did manage to make about 68 million dollars at the box office with a budge of around 6.5 million, so it was at the very least a financial success. While the debut and the first two seasons may have been sub par but in the past few years, it has evolved into a great show and has become a worthy addition to the Star Wars Expanded …

GLOW: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling

GLOW: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling

Before WWE  and TNA, there was an all-female, cable TV, pro-wrestling show called GLOW: The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. On Tuesday March 19, a documentary about the show made its network TV debut on the Logo Channel.

The makers of The Story of GLOW: The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling decided they wanted to delve into the story behind a TV show that they grew up with. They didn’t tout themselves as huge fans necessarily, just producers making a documentary. Although the way the story was handled would hint that perhaps they did have a certain affinity for the show with …

Being a fan of animated series on TV these days is not an easy thing. In the last few years we have been forced to suffer through the cancellations of Spectacular Spider-Man, Green Lantern the Animated Series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes and now Young Justice. The show was created from the same guys behind Spectacular Spider-Man and it is arguably one of the finest shows based on the DC characters. The second season called Invasion, promised to expand the team and have one overarching story that would go through its entirety kind of like a big

TV Review: Robot Combat League

TV Review: Robot Combat League

Sy Fy Channel’s take on Real Steel is an engaging and fun hour series. Robot Combat League started last night on Sy Fy and after a slow start, it was loads of mindless fun. Smarmy/likable WWE star Chris Jericho with his charismatic presence and amused smirk, is the perfect host for this fun bit of robot smashing action. The major problem with the series is that it took too long to get to the robot action. Introducing the contestants and setting up the premise took far too long, something that probably has to do with budget concerns, but it is something …

There has already been some fan discontent regarding the set-up of the package.  I can definitely see why to an extent.  Like the …
