Opening Reception: Saturday February 06, 2009 (7 pm – 11 pm)

Alhambra, CA – Gallery Nucleus invites you to witness ZOMBIES IN LOVE, an event that gathers artists, art lovers and a zombie enthusiasts to pay homage to zombie culture.

The night will come alive with a horrifying spectacle as zombies take over Main Street Alhambra, and staggers on with a large-scale group exhibition at the gallery featuring new and original paintings, and sculptures by artists from film to fine art. Experience the thrill
of zombie passion and see that love, like zombies, doesn’t die.

Volunteer’s are welcome for the Zombie Walk which will kick off the show, many professionals that have shaped the zombie indusrty will be attending. There will be a signing with several artists from the book “October Shadows.” Artist Chris Lane will be present to sign “Zombies: A Record of the Year of Infection.” Dancers from Jayvee Dance will also host a performance in the main gallery.

Opening Night features include:

  • $2 cover charge at door but free to those that come in zombie make-up
  • Free refreshments and Zombie/Valentines snacks served.
  • Free give aways at the door and ever hour.
  • Zombie walk at 6:20 pm (meet on the corner of Atlantic and Main St).
  • Live performance by “Teen Groov.”
  • Taylor White and other artists will be in attendance to sign “October Shadows” book.
  • Chris Lane will be in attendance to sign “Zombies: A Record of the Year of Infection.”
