BioShock Infinite 18 1024x583 Video Game Review: Bioshock Infinite

Let’s face it; we’ve all seen all the promotion videos, trailers, interviews concerning this particular game. Ever since it was first shown back in August of 2010, Bioshock Infinite has been a hotly anticipated game. Before it came out, the developers promised to recapture the magic of the original Bioshock while crafting a story filled with mature themes, a companion that you truly care about and a fresh new world to explore. While it does manage to fulfill many of the promises made before release. It also suffers from some pretty glaring issues that many reviewers and gamers have seemingly chosen …

Movie Review: G.I. Joe Retaliation

Hasbro and Paramount pictures released G.I. Joe Retaliation this past Friday (March 29th, 2013) amid a very interesting course of events. The movie was supposed to have come out this past summer, but was changed a few months before. Fans every which way had their theories as to why this was happening, but Paramount was only able to say that they wanted to convert the movie for a 3D experience and that was the reason for the new delay.

With all this anticipation, I knew I would have to see the movie. And that is exactly what I did. Now let …

TV Review: Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 5

Hard too believe it’s been nearly 5 whole years since Star Wars: The Clone Wars debut as a full feature film back in 2008. Upon its release, critics and fans blasted the film but it did manage to make about 68 million dollars at the box office with a budge of around 6.5 million, so it was at the very least a financial success. While the debut and the first two seasons may have been sub par but in the past few years, it has evolved into a great show and has become a worthy addition to the Star Wars Expanded …

Being a fan of animated series on TV these days is not an easy thing. In the last few years we have been forced to suffer through the cancellations of Spectacular Spider-Man, Green Lantern the Animated Series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes and now Young Justice. The show was created from the same guys behind Spectacular Spider-Man and it is arguably one of the finest shows based on the DC characters. The second season called Invasion, promised to expand the team and have one overarching story that would go through its entirety kind of like a big

Movie Review: Oz the Great and Powerful

Movie Review: Oz the Great and Powerful

Messing with a classic like The Wizard of Oz is a dangerous proposition. The film is so beloved that you’re almost guaranteed the wraith of its many fans by even attempting a remake. Oz the Great and Powerful mostly avoids this by being a prequel concerning a lesser character (Oz) and not mentioning Dorothy at all. Oz is made with a great deal of skill and some eye-popping effects but little of the heart and soul that made the original so memorable. The film is not without merit though, and features some decent performances and an often lively pace. James Franco …

TV Review: Robot Combat League

TV Review: Robot Combat League

Sy Fy Channel’s take on Real Steel is an engaging and fun hour series. Robot Combat League started last night on Sy Fy and after a slow start, it was loads of mindless fun. Smarmy/likable WWE star Chris Jericho with his charismatic presence and amused smirk, is the perfect host for this fun bit of robot smashing action. The major problem with the series is that it took too long to get to the robot action. Introducing the contestants and setting up the premise took far too long, something that probably has to do with budget concerns, but it is something …
