I am going to run down (by order of date), the films I think will be most worthwhile for everyone to spend their hard-earned bucks on at your local, overpriced multiplex, because I roll like that.  It’s that time of year again kids, strap in, practice your sneer (Jonathan Rhys Meyers style) because it’s time to escape the heat and pay 4 bucks for a watered-down Coke……..edgy.

The eagerly awaited and crudely funny Harold and Kumar sequel is amiable, but it’s also nowhere near as fresh or funny a movie as the original.  The law of diminishing returns applies to Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.  It feels mostly like a retread of the first film, with more overtly political jokes, while the once-fresh racial humor is very hit and miss here.

Is there any stopping the mighty Nintendo and their Wii?  It was said that the Wii wouldn’t be a contender.  That the Wii was just a gimmick.  As you all know already, Nintendo is back.  Just looking at this NPD Sales Chart, you can clearly see that they are kicking Sony and Microsoft’s collectives asses.

In the States, Europe, or Japan, it doesn’t matter.  The Wii tops the charts in consoles and videogames.  With games like Brawl, Wii Play and Sonic and Mario at the Olympics that brings families together, it’s no wonder it’s selling a lot compared to Sony …
