It goes without saying that Wolverines first solo film was kind of a disaster in the eyes of many people. It created a gargantuan amount of continuity problems, it butchered the already well done Weapon X story in X2, got rid of Deadpools mouth and was generally a bad film with  few redeeming qualities so people are understandably apprehensive about this new solo outing, especially after its very long and troubled production.But like another troubled film that came out earlier this year and pleasantly surprised me, The Wolverine is a fantastic Wolverine film and its the second best X-Men film …

To Akira’s black and gold “Tuxedo” Gibson Les Paul Custom, Yui says “It’s Black Gita!” Well, courtesy of a friend, here is “Camo Gita” an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Zakk Wylde with custom graphics. With the first episode of Book 2: Spirits of The Legend of Korra just a few days away from premiering at SDCC 2013, what better time than now to do a list of things I want to see happen in the upcoming season which will hopefully come to fruition and help improve this terrible show and elevate it to something that doesn’t make you want to shoot yourself in the head with a shotgun with cringe worthy characters, dialogue, pointless and poorly executed sub plots and the ugh…. romance….

I think it’s fair to say that Jonathan Hickman is the Grant Morrison of Marvel, both of these writers have a reputation for writing stories that are very out there, trippy, esoteric and not very accessible to everyone and Hickman’s first volume of Avengers proves this. If you’re not a fan of very grand scale, dense, dry, sci-fi and cosmic stories, you will not like this book at all; in fact you will down right hate and despise it. The aptly named Amazing! Las Vegas Comic Convention was held at the South Point casino over the past weekend. Fans lined up and came in droves to buy shwag but also to see special guests like Stan Lee, Jim Lee and Greg Capullo. Going into this particular film, I was very worried about it, mostly due to its critical reception. Currently standing on 57% on Rotten Tomatoes, the critics, particularly some of the harsher ones said some very nasty things about MoS and I was genuinely worried about it. The whole DC Cinematic Universe rests on its shoulders and if with the audience and at the box office, it would probably kill any non Batman DC movie for god knows how long.
