As 99.8% of you guys know, Prince Of Persia the movie is based on a video game.  So when we had an opportunity to talk to Jake Gyllenhaal, we didn’t ask the typical questions like “How did you become so buff and dreamy?” or “How was it working with NERDSociety’s idol, mega producer, Jerry Bruckheimer?”

Last night an amazing party was put on for the launch of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. The event was held at one of Hollywood’s notorious hot spots, Skybar.  The star-studded event was hosted by none other than True Blood star Ryan Kwanten.

Cosplayers and anime fans were in full force at Royal/T for the book launch party of  Ejen Chuang’s, “Cosplay In America.”  Tune in Tokyo was on hand to provide the music as guests were boogying to the  latest hip Japanese songs.  Chuang was overwhelmed with the high turnout and the book sold out by the end of the day.

Fans were asking for Chuang’s autograph, which was something new for the photographer.

“I’m not used to this.  Usually, I’m on the back and nobody sees the photographer,” as Chuang explained his newfound fame.

When Smallville debuted in 2001, I was 21 years old. It was a different time back then and the series is ending after 10 seasons next year. My parents were pretty healthy and we used to watch the show together. I was in college at the time and I found the series refreshing and loved the way’s that young Clark Kent’s powers were filtered through his own teen angst and puberty. The Wonder Girls celebrated their recent “2 Different Tears” album launch party May 15, 2010 at the Conga Room in Los Angeles. They were presented by JYP and Perez Hilton (known for asking Miss California the gay question). JYP has helped produced many Kpop artists and thanked Perez Hilton for introducing Wonder Girls to the Western Audience with a Chinese pipe. NBC has officially canceled the ratings challenged and creatively challenged series. Back in April 2009 on this very site I wrote an article begging NBC to cancel the series and end my torture. At the time I knew the show was a piece of dung, but I was still addicted and faithfully watching each week. I was attacked by Heroes fans for my strong views but they seemed to ignore the fact that I was one of them. I never responded to the attacks because everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The arguments against my argument for cancellation were bizarre. …

Alan Wake has been in the works for five years and is the latest game by Remedy (the guys that did Max Payne). After having finished playing the game, I can see that a lot of care went into making the story very compelling and engaging. The one gripe I have with the game is that the visuals aren’t quite up to par as I would hope, but Remedy has made up for it by making the dark atmosphere come to life. This game does answer the question about what would happen if Max Payne was stuck inside Silent Hill.
