Last night an amazing party was put on for the launch of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. The event was held at one of Hollywood’s notorious hot spots, Skybar.  The star-studded event was hosted by none other than True Blood star Ryan Kwanten.

Art collectible company MINDstyle has posted on its official blog preview images for their new vinyl collectible line the will launch this year.  Part of the new line  Stitch from Lilo & Stitch will be the latest Disney character getting the Tron make over for Disney’s promotion of the film Tron Legacy.  Last year MINDstyle unveiled a Tron inspired V.I.N.CENT from the 1979 Disney’s Sci-Fi classic “The Black Hole” celebrating the  30th anniversary of the film.

Disney’s STAR WARS Week-Ends is in full effect and part of the week end full of festivities is the annual Hyperspace Hoopla.  A dance off showdown where teams compete and the winners are judged by the audiences’ applause.  Last year Chewbacca and Jawas got crunk to House of Pain’s Jump Around,” The Ladies of Star Wars strut their stuff to Spice Girls’ “Wannabe,” and Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers brought down the house to MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This.” The competition was non the less…out of this world.

You ever wonder how Aladdin would stack up next to Prince Charming?  Or does Jafar tower over Dr. Facilier?  Well with a little creativity, a lot of artistic talent, and some free time graphic designer Juan Pablo Bravo from Chile created a infograph showing Disney Characters in there estimated sizes.  There is also one for just Disney Villains and Pixar Characters as well.

I’d like to see one for Super Heroes and Japanese Monster Movies.

Legion is about a struggle for the fate of no less than the end of the world, but mostly it’s a boring slog from beginning to end. There’s a few quick, unsettling scenes (stuff you’ve already seen in the promising promos and trailers for the flick), but mostly there’s just poorly written babble about God hating humans, a mythical baby, and the end of the world. It’s almost bad enough to make you flee to a Sunday morning church service. Toy Story 3 is less than a month away and I’m very anxious to watch it. Here’s a featurette to ease the pain with Michael Keaton (Ken), Lee Unkrich (Director), Darla K. Anderson (Producer), Ned Beatty (Lots-O-Huggin’ Bear) and Jodi Benson (Barbie). Watching Michael Keaton behind the scenes has reminded me that he has not aged well. Announced today former Transformers costar Meagan Fox will not be returning in the 3rd film.  Sources at Paramount Pictures say that Shia Lebeouf’s character will be heading in a new direction where he does not need to be tied down by a love interest.  May sources claim that the decision came ultimately from director Michael Bay.  The two have had a rocky relationship in the past.  On the last film Meagan Fox compared the director to “Neapolitan“ and “Hitler.”  In response to her comments crew members of the film posted an open letter on the directors …

While I follow the Dodgers, I only go to their games once every couple of years.  I live in Orange County and the drive to Chávez Ravine is just terrible.  But come this Friday, May 21st, I might just go.   The reason I’d go is that the Dodgers are celebrating Empire Strikes Back’s 30th anniversary.  They’re going to have characters such as Yoda, Boba Fett and the Stormtroopers at the stadium.  Han Solo’s bff, Chewbacca will be throwing the first pitch.  If that wasn’t enough, the first 20,000 fans will get an exclusive Star Wars/Dodgers poster.

Did you know the next Batman movie will be released May 24th, 2010?
