Disney’s first expo, D23, was a lot of fun.  Highlights include hanging out with the Red Queen from Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland, watching Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3D (which was awesome) and the interactive booths such as the Storyteller Sandbox and Autonomatronic Show.  Below are some pics I took from the event.  Stay tuned as we’ll have extensive reports from the event, including future Pixar movies and new Disney attractions and of course, Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3D review!

Over 500,000 sq ft is used at the Anaheim Convention Center for this special event with many special guests.

The 2009 San Diego Comicon had quite a list of exclusives, however I found my favorite! The Destro two pack features a pair of very well detailed 3 3/4 G.I. Joe figures depicting James McCullen IX and XXIV.

James McCullen IX from the opening of the movie: G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, comes complete with armor, a Pike, a black powder pistol and a sword. The best part of course is a “metal” mask that resembles and works just like the movie prop–minus being red hot!

I recently attended Comic-Con and let me say it was a blast, well that’s because I was busy flirting with the babes (shhh, don’t tell the girlfriend). Throughout the event, we did video interviews and got a chance to attend the Kamen Rider panel.

The Tentacle Monster covers Anime Expo, up and down, left and right. He meets pornstar Amber Rayne, cosplayers, dances to Love and Joy and learns the art of traditional Japanese dance. The Tentacle Monster also competes against Ezio from Assassin’s Creed 2 and Chun-Li in Street Fighter 4. Of course nothing’s complete without the cosplaying cuties to finish up the Anime Expo experience.…
