The historic Queen Mary in Long Beach transforms into a haunted ship at night for Shipwreck.  Shipwreck has a total of 6 terrifying and fun attractions (5 mazes and 1 dance floor).  Below are several tips to enjoy Shipwreck.  Also make sure to check out the review for the mazes and attractions.

Last week, I attended the Chiller EyeGore Awards held at Universal Studios Hollywood.  The show aims at honoring excellence and achievement in the horror genre.  Legendary make up artist, Rick Baker (Planet Of The Apes, Hellboy) got the “Jack Pierce – Lifetime Achievement” for his awesome work in the movie industry.  I had a chance to talk to him and he’s a very easy going guy.  Too bad I forgot to ask him why he didn’t work on Hellboy 2, I was too excited talking to a legend.

Whether it’s for 1/6th action figures or Disney, I love conventions!  This weekend, it was for COMICS!  The first ever Long Beach Comic Convention was held at the Long Beach Convention Center and plenty of stars showed up.  The convention focused more towards comics than pop culture.  Comic greats,  Stan Lee (Spider Man, Hulk), Jim Lee (X Men, All Star Batman & Robin) , Jeph Loeb (Batman: Hush, Red Hulk) and J.
