“Take that job, shove it!” A fun little short film to promote the upcoming game Sleeping Dogs by Square Enix. There’s not much to the script, nor the acting, but the fight scenes are fun.

A 15 year old in Ohio played 4 straight days on his Xbox 360 before collapsing and getting sent to the hospital for dehydration. His aunt found him acting like a zombie, “It’s like he was looking at me but he wasn’t there. It was like he was looking through me.” The only time the teenager stopped playing was when he used the restroom and grabbed some snacks.

Several sources reported today that Rocksteady, the studio behind Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, are working on a prequel to both games featuring the JLA.
This prequel will involve Batman’s first battle with the Joker and his first encounter with the JLA members. It is also rumored that the game will have a stylized 50’s Silver Age feel. However some concept art from an artist who worked on the Arkham games popped up shortly after the game itself was revealed.
It’s unknown if this really is concept art from the game itself but considering the style of the characters themselves …
I was not excited with this game at first. I thought it was going to be just another run of the mill Lego game with the DC brand slapped on it. But after spending 30+ hours all I can say is Lego Batman 2 is the best Lego game and one of the best comic book games ever made.

Probably thrilled with the positive fan buzz from the release of the Extended Cut DLC, Mike Gamble, Mass Effect 3 producer hinted at further DLC plans that would include both single player and multi player content. After his statement eager fans went digging through the files of the EC DLC and found some interesting pieces of dialogue that pretty much confirm a future DLC.
According to the dialogue found, the next DLC will revolve around a Reaper called the Leviathan of Dis, a dormant Reaper that caused the fall of the Batarian race at the beginning of ME3.

As some of you may know, The Amazing Spider-Man game came out a few days ago for consoles and handhelds but the PC version was strangely missing, well Activision and developer Beenox have confirmed that the PC version of the latest Spidey game will hit August 10th.
While we usually don’t expect too much from movie tie in games, this title was developed by Beenox. The guys behind the last two Spider-Man games, Edge of Time and Shattered Dimensions which both received good reviews and fan reception.

Yesterday, Freddiew Gamez released their 16-bit Video Game version of Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. It is FreddieW’s rendition of the movie as an old school video game that highlights Abraham Lincoln as a badass, vampire hunter. The video emulates scenes from the movie.

Product announcements are trickling down for this year’s Comic Con’s exclusives and Udon’s exclusive caught my attention. Udon will have a limited edition hardcover of Marvel Vs. Capcom Official Complete Works. The book will have concept art from Capcom’s franchise game along with character bios. The 192 page hardcover has an exclusive cover by Alvin Lee and digitally painted by UDON’s Genzoman. The book will set you back $100 and limited to 200 prints.

Dreamworks has acquired the rights to make a Need for Speed movie based on the 6 billion dollar EA video game franchise, beating out studios like Sony and Warner Brothers. Konami is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Metal Gear by releasing a music CD compilation in July. An exact playlist has not been released yet but music will be featured from the titles Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
