The route that I usually take from home to work passes through the south side of Disneyland. Well yesterday, I was getting out of work and was headed home. On my way I saw people protesting outside of Disneyland.
The protesters were holding up signs saying “Disney is Unfaithful” and “Mickey: Shame on You.” Yes, I have to admit, I was put off by these protesters because I had plans on going to Disneyland this weekend.

Star Wars: Clone Wars is being released in theatres today. Checking in on the latest reviews for the new Star Wars CG movie just puts a damper on this nerd’s face.
I’m going to watch it regardless, but just seeing George Lucas’ trend on movies lately, like the latest Indiana Jones movie and the Star Wars prequels, has made me lose “a new hope” on future Lucas film projects.…

1. The Dark Knight- Dark, dazzlingly complex and one of the best (along with Batman Begins and Spidey 2) comic book films ever made. As soon as Heath Ledger’s darkly funny and utterly amazing Joker pops up on screen, you can’t take your eyes off him. The whole cast is amazing and this is the rare film that will stay with you long after you’ve forgotten the latest popcorn flick you saw to escape a blazing hot day.

Before Alone in the Dark came out, I was really looking forward to it. All the previews that I saw showed a lot of promises; for example, making Molotov cocktails, shooting liquor bottles to create explosions, creating a mini-flamethrower using a spray can and a lighter, and using wooden objects near fire to create a deadly weapon for foul creatures. The former UFC champion, Rampage Jackson, is in a bigger mess than originally thought. One week after losing his UFC belt to Forrest Griffin, Rampage was involved in a hit and run, and a 5 minute high speed chase with Orange County cops. Rumors suggest that what really caused the mayhem was that he was betrayed by his coach. These are all allegations for now, but apparently his coach, and mentor, stole money from him.
