The movie just got released today on DVD and Blu-ray.  I purchased the Blu-ray format.  Popped this little baby in my PS3 when I arrived home.  Ok, I see an image of Tony Stark’s artificial heart loading on my TV.  Ok, it’s installing something, just like my Transformers Blu-ray.   Now I checked back to see it’s still loading.  I restarted it to see if would work, but no dice.  It was still loading/installing.  Why is it taking so long? Is my PS3 creating an Iron Man suit in there?

Ok, the third episode for Heroes Season 3 starts out ok.  The storyline in this week’s episode revolves around Sylar helping HRG to capture the Level 5 fugitives.  HRG is forced to partner up with his rival in order to stop a group that is supposedly more dangerous than Sylar; meanwhile, Claire ditches school so that she can learn from her mom, who can create fire, to fight against bad guys.  Hiro and Ando are still on their pursuit to find Daphne, the speedster, and Tracy Strauss is figuring out who Nikki is and why Nikki looks just like her.…

This is a joke of a fight. Shamrock lost to a nobody due to a jab to the face. Shamrock’s only chance is to take Kimbo down, which I don’t think he can. Kimbo is bigger and younger. Kimbo will KO Shamrock and all of a sudden, people will say that Kimbo is a legitimate Heavyweight. Wrong! Even my neighbor can beat Shamrock nowadays. With that said, I still want Kimbo to win because I can’t stand Shamrock. He hypes himself up and ends up getting massacred in less than a couple of minutes.

Hot Toys will release 3 Iron-man figures. At about $175 a piece, it would be hard for me to get all three. Now, if I was to get only one, which one should I get? They all look great, and pretty much identical to the film. These figs are 12″ tall, so they are pretty big. Robert Downey’s headsculpt is also included, and he looks pretty realistic.

My first choice is this guy, the ghetto version of Iron-man. I like the bulky look.

My second choice is this one. The metallic, unpainted version. Aka Mark II

So there it was, my Batman: Gotham Knight Blu-ray, alone on a small street in Orange County.  I stopped my car to go pick it up.  Pieces were everywhere.  I went straight for the disc to see if it was still intact.  By the luck of the gods, Batman came out in one piece.  But…the same can’t be said about the cover.  Jump for the full details and pics of the surviving pieces.…

Gus Van Sant is one of the more interesting writer/directors around working in film today. He’s able to go mainstream with hits like Good Will Hunting and then do more personal and artsy indie films like Gerry and Elephant. He’s in a real experimental phase lately and Paranoid Park is another aimless wander from Van Sant. An artsy, pretentious void of nothingness. There’s no emotional resonance, character development (or story) at all in Paranoid Park. Van Sant’s pretty images and stylish cinematography are even spiraling into cliche. Hot Toys announces the release of a Michael Jackson 12-inch action figure. I gotta give Hot Toys credit for being bold on this. They are mainly known for their awesome Movie Lines such as Rambo and Predator. But, now they enter the pedo zone. Oh well, I guess Michael is innocent until proven guilty.
