Last Saturday at HP Pavillion, as Fedor tried to escaped Werdum’s tight triangle choke, it sounded like the whole crowd was silent. A few seconds later Fedor tapped and the crowd roared in disbelief.
Personally, I knew it was all over as soon as Werdum locked in the triangle. Fedor should’ve stood up when he escaped the first attempt but I guess he thought Werdum was more hurt than he really was. Eclipse is the 3rd movie based off the series of hugely popular teen vampire novels from Mormon author Stephanie Meyer. Her goofy (but wildly successful) idea for the books basically revolves around a teenage Emo girl named Bella (played by Kirsten Stewart) who is in love with an undead vampire who protects her but refuses to turn her or have sex with her. The laughable abstinence makes the heart grow fonder message aside, she’s clearly tapped into something that both teenage girls, and their Moms can both enjoy. The Anime Eureka SeVen has had mixed reviews in the past, some people say it’s too long at 50 episodes and others love it. I’d say that I’m in the middle and find it great on a lot of levels such as the story in itself and negative by how annoying the main characters get on their slow road to finding themselves.
The DVD’s took about 2 years to collect. Having to wait every other month for the next disk to come out was like waiting for paint to dry. Most of the disks came out in a special edition which …

At the Strikeforce press conference, Fedor Emelianenko talked about his loss to Fabricio Werdum. Fedor looked very sad and disapointed and said “maybe, I took myself for granted.”
“I wasn’t mechanical tonight. I thought I would react automatically (to submission holds) but it was obvious I didn’t”
Fedor also pointed out that he’ll train harder whenever his next fight will be. He wants a rematch with Werdum but he said it’s up to the victor to choose his next opponent.
“It’s God’s will if I win or lose, ” Fedor added.

In one of the most memorable MMA events in years, Strikeforce returned to its hometown of San Jose, CA to feature the one of the best MMA fighters in the world, Fedor Emelianenko. Emelianenko faced off against the bjj expert, Fabricio Werdum. In the undercard, Cung Le faced a rematch with Scott Smith while Women’s Middleweight Champion Cris Cyborg fought against the underdog Jan Finney. Legendary MMA fighter, Frank Shamrock also announced his retirement.

Everyone probably knows by now that I’m not the biggest fan of computer animation. I prefer anime myself. I also like the old-fashioned hand-drawn animation. I have no time for the Shrek series as I could barely sit through the first one, but Toy Story is something different. The Toy Story series taps into our love of toys and judging from the emotional responses to the final scenes of Toy Story 3, Pixar has another winner on its hands. Last week, I nervously stepped in to Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva’s gym to watch him train. I also planned on doing an interview after his workout. I’ve met Silva before and believe it or not, he’s a very easy going guy. Although Silva is really cool to his fans, I was feeling the butterflies in my stomach as he was finishing up his training. I knew in a couple of minutes, I’d be interviewing one of the most ferocious and one of my favorite fighters in MMA.
